NHF is very enthusiastic with the trend of vegetable diet that is becoming increasingly popular. Eating less meat is better for health, the environment and animal welfare.

NHF takes the current environmental situation seriously and wants to do his part to impart actively.

Food has a great impact on our environment: from production and consumption to processing waste. Prosperity ensured in the Western world that we eat more animal food. The general health is strongly deteriorated and there arose a north-south divide, rich versus poor. The industrialization of animal husbandry at the expense of animal welfare.

However, we are increasingly aware of this pollution and injustice, and are also more willing to take on our responsibilities. Opt for sustainable and healthier food comes mainly down to make conscious choices that the environment, our health and the social and economic ethics benefit.

NHF is always looking in collaboration with the food industry and customers for new materials, new ingredients to make their products even healthier and tastier to please the final customer.

The inclusion of forgotten vegetables, the use of local products and new combinations of superfoods keeps NHF constantly working. To obtain this aim, NHF follows closely what is offered in the market in terms of ingredients, raw materials and new technologies.

Existing recipes are always taken under the loop. NHF deliberately choose to process less soy and to incorporate more pulse & fresh vegetables.
